FACTS Convention 2008 (Gent, Belgien)

Am 11. und 12. Oktober wird zum 18. Mal die FACTS Convention stattfinden.
FACTS ist die größte Messe in den Benelux Ländern! Mehr als 100 Händlern aus verschiedenen Ländern,
unterschiedliche Aktivitätensmöglichkeiten, Fanclubs und Unmengen von hochkarätigen Gästen!

Panini klebt immer sehr an ihren Künstlern, die sie einfliegen. Es werden Sketch-Tickets verlost und man kann, eigentlich nur eine Signatur bekommen.

Auf der FACTS hatte ich eher so das Gefühl, das es wie in den USA ist:
Anstellen ein wenig erzählen und wenn man sich sympathisch ist, dann bekommt man auch schon mal ein oder zwei SKetchies. Das meistens sogar umsonst. Und falls doch eine Gebühr von den Zeichnern erhoben wird, dann kriegt man auch was dafür!

Und die Auswahl der Zeichner ist etwas gemischter als hier in Deutschland, nicht immer nur Marvel Mist.


Panini really sticks to their artists. They gamble out sketch-tickets and the only thing you can get for free, is a signature.

FACTS seemed to be more like a US Con. Queuing, having a chit-chat, asking for a sketchie. And those sketchies are mostly even for free. IF the pencillers charge a fee at all, then really have some sketchie in hand afterwards!

And the selction of artists is more mixed, not only Marvel stuff....
