Gene Colan will celebrate his 81st birthday during the first Uchronia Comics Convention, that will be held in Lugano, Switzerland, on the first and the second day of September 2007. Gene Colan is a real living legend in the comics world. He has drawn “everything”, enriching with his Art every conceivable genre, from romantic tales to science fiction to sheer horror. He illustrated the adventures of almost all the superheroes of the two major comics publisher in the U.S.A., Marvel and DC – Daredevil and Captain America to name but a few. Among his latest works there is a short adventure of Spiderman and Daredevil. Mr Colan will be very pleased to meet his european fans, for the very first time in his life, at the Uchronia Comics Convention.
