German Comic History

Hi.
I'm surprised that,after posting a request on 1st June for information on Bastei's comic publishing history 40 people have viewed but no one can offer any information.

We know a lot about German comics history from Max and Moritz on but I have found more recent comic history very difficult to find. When did Condor or Ehapa start publishing? When did Bastei first start publishing comics? Are these questions unanswerable?

There's not much information to be found on this site but at least you can get a feeling for the look of their publications.
