just wanted to tell everybody what I heard in the States, Tales of Wonder is looking for cross-over possibilities with some of the existing characters in the industrie I.E. Dark Horse/Image/ect... before starting a brand new Universe with the characters without Lady Death...

SOON you will see or hear the return of Evil Ernie & friends!

Thanks for sharing that info with us. I waiting for a reply from ToW, in case they had any latest news. They got in touch with us pretty much after they bought the remaining Chaos! properties, but then it became quiet...

I wrote ToW a million times and never got an answer, some of the guys in the Chaos Fiends club know a little what is going on but were sworn to keep it a secret... I also believe that some of the properties are being developed as motion pictures. Please keep in mind that in the movie business... in development also means they did not start doing anything but are considering it


Hell, with all the shit Marvel is putting out, a Evil Ernie ALA Hellboy should be OK don't you think

Yes... "in development"... what a marvelous term!
I personally would love to see a Chastity movie. Could be pretty mainstreamy, too. Of course EE would be a killer, but I don't think it ever would make it to the movies (at least not in Germany), but on DVD instead (like the LD animated movie). A non-animated LD movie would be cool, too. There's worlds to move... but is the fiendom big enough? Or the stuff "good" enough for the mainstream? Unfortunately I doubt it. And feel sorry about it.

Well, one of the fiend club members met with Joe Hovorka, president of ToW, that's how he knows... regarding movies, well a good friend of mine is a solicitor for high budget movies, oil plants, boeings/Airbus and others here in Frankfurt Germany... You would be surprise what the owners of Aldi & Co. are able to invest in, I cannot get into details on this matter dough

Just got a reply from ToW: They say they are moving forward with publishing plans and expect to have a formal announcement "soon". They also say they anticipate new material being published beginning mid 2oo5.

Und für diejenigen unter uns, die kein Englisch sprechen: Tales of Wonder, die Firma, die 2oo3 die Rechte an allen Chaos!-Charakteren (außer Lady Death) gekauft haben, plant, voraussichtlich Mitte 2oo5 neues Material zu den Charakteren zu veröffentlichen. Eine formelle Ankündigung dazu soll "bald" folgen.

Aber damit der thread hier nicht auf Grund englischer Sprache von den anderen gelynched wird:

Ich würde gern noch mehr von Jade lesen. Ein näherer one-shot zu Morgana wäre auch nicht schlecht, immerhin war sie vor Hope der Avatar des Todes. In der Hinsicht ist doch da noch viel Spielraum.
Aber was auch wissenswert wäre, wie ergeht es Lady Demon auf der Erde (he, das offene Ende brennt gerade nach einer neuen Anti-Heldinnen Story).
Und unser Purgi-chan können wir doch nicht so einfach zurücklassen, gerade wo Ägypten wieder Hochkonjunktur im Trend hat.

Ein Ende zu Dark Alliance wäre auch nicht schlecht. Ich will endlich wissen, was Luzi mit Demonika & Diabolica zu schaffen hat.... :asthanos:

Ich glaube kaum, dass ToW unvollendete Miniserien abschließen wird. Aber wer weiß. Lassen wir uns überraschen.

Common Ralph, don't be so pessimistic... Ich glaube dass wenn der "Revival" von GI Joe, Transformers, GhostBusters und Evil Dead funktioniert denn warum nicht auch Chaos. Horror ist IN jetz, "House of a 1000 corpses", "Texas Chainsaw", "Hellboy", "Constantine", "Van Helsing" waren/werden Alle Kino HITz und sind/werden alle comics...


ToW sollte beispiel nehmen an Top Cow, Top Cow hat nur 4-5 comics im Monat und sind alle TOP qualität... Auch Devil's Due und Dreamwave sind Gute beispiel... wenig comics aber richtig

Evil: Your German is great. However, apparently you got me wrong. I am not pessimistic at all. I am sure they will bring some good new Chaos! stuff, but I just don't think the will continue unfinished mini series, but start new series instead. Unless they get Brian Pulido aboard who might want to continue where he had to leave "his children".

Ich bitte um Entschuldigung wegen Pessimismus. Was Brian Pulido betrefft, Ich bin kein Fan mehr von ihm und glaube er sollte sein Hände von Evil Ernie und co. weg halten. Ich glaube so wie Transformers, He-Man, GI Joe wurde von andere wieder zum leben gebracht und mit besser Qualität wie je zuvor!

Ich hätte weder etwas dagegen, wenn BP wieder mit dabei ist, noch, wenn jemand anderes frisches Blut (sic!) mit hineinbringt. Aber wer bin ich, meine Meinung kundzutun? Ich verlege halt das, was kommt. (so es denn gut genug ist) :)

Naja, es wäre wirklich schön, wenn Brian wieder mitmachen würde, immerhin sind es seine Figuren.
Aber ich könnte auch verstehen wenn nicht. Seid dem Tod von Stephen Hughes sind die Figuren ... naja, nicht mehr sie selbst gewesen und es ist ungewiss ob Brian sie wieder so hinkriegt, wie er sie mit Hughes ausgearbeitet hatte.

Lassen wir uns überraschen. Brian ist ja auch Metal-Fan und mit Metal ist es wie mit Chaos!: einmal Metaler, immer Metaler.´ ;)
