Und noch was von The Pulse:

"Grand Junction, Colorado - COMICS SPOTLIGHT, the new comics interview magazine, is pleased to announce work is proceeding ahead of schedule on the first company-themed issue featuring CrossGen Entertainment.

"CrossGen has an amazing track record for being on time. If there was ever an issue that should be early, it would be the CrossGen issue of COMICS SPOTLIGHT," said editor and publisher Charles S. Novinskie. "Everyone at CrossGen has been wonderful with their cooperation, and we think comics fans are going to appreciate the results."

COMICS SPOTLIGHT: CROSSGEN will include interviews from both the creative and business sides of CrossGen, including Mark Alessi, Ian Feller, Scot Eaton, John Dell, Ron Marz, Frank D'Armata and others. As usual, COMICS SPOTLIGHT will hit some of the folks behind the scenes that other magazines usually miss.

For this special issue, Novinskie said he handed the ball to Comicon.com/PULSE scribe Jennifer M. Contino. Her first work for the magazine will appear in the Crime Comics issue, but Novinskie said she's contributed the overwhelming bulk of the material for the CrossGen issue.

"Since we're like a lot of other people and read Jen's work everyday on PULSE, we couldn't be happier with her taking such an active role in this issue," Novinskie said. "She's not out to trick anyone, but she asks good, thought-provoking questions."

"I've been a fan of CrossGen since before the first issues hit the stands," Contino said. "I knew most of the initial creators and really liked the ideas behind this imaginative universe. The Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres were ignored for too long in US comics and I was happy to see both making a much needed return."

"In this issue of Comics Spotlight, I spoke with someone from almost every walk of CrossGen life from Ian Feller to Scot Eaton to Mark Alessi. Several pros completed a Pro Roundtable with a few questions about what they like best about the CGU. Dave Lanphear also provided us with an informative guide on How To Letter Comics, complete with a list of websites to visit and tools of the trade. We'll also have a nice company overview that spotlights everything good about CrossGen."

COMICS SPOTLIGHT: CROSSGEN can be found on Page 359 of the September 2002 Previews and is scheduled to go on sale in November 2002.
