Oder anders ausgedrückt: Mystic #31, das am 4. Dezember erscheint, wird als erste Ausgabe des neuen regulären Zeichners Aaron Lopresti angekündigt.

Über Fabrizios Schicksal ist bisher nichts bekannt.

Yes!!!! :D Geil, Aaron gefällt mir zugegebenermassen besser als Fabrizio. Man sehe sich Aaron's Uncanny X-Men oder Rogue Ausgaben mal an. Da kann Giselle ja nur noch gut aussehen! :)

Jedenfalls ziert Aarons erstes Mystic-Cover bereits meinen Desktop...

Nichts gegen Fabrizio, aber ich erahne, daß da eine Menge Leute aufatmen werden...

Yep, das denke ich auch. Allerdings werden wir Fab wohl trotzdem wieder sehen. CG schneidert ihm bestimmt eine eigene Serie auf den Leib! Vielleicht Chuck's Piraten? ;)

Endlich ist der Depp weg. Wegen ihm bin ich bei Mystic von der Heftserie weg zum Compendium und jetzt muß ich ihn auch da nicht mehr ertragen.!!!

'kay über seine Giselle kann man streiten, aber seinen Art deco / Art noveau hatte Fab gelernt.

Ich fand Fabrizio garnich ma schlecht. Von den Zeichnungen her fast die Beste CG Serie.
Hat einer vielleicht mal ein pic zu der Arbeit von diesem Aaron Lopresti plz? Kann mir jetz grad nicht vorstellen was er noch so gemacht hat.

Ein Pic nicht, allerdings kommen bald auf deutsch die Uncanny X-Men Nummern raus, die er zeichnete. Ebenso stammt die Rogue Icons Reihe von ihm.

"CrossGeneration Comics has just confirmed for THE PULSE that fan favorite artist Aaron Lopresti is going to be taking over the art chores on Mystic and moving to sunny FLA. Lopresti got his break in comics with the Malibu series Sludge. After Sludge he moved on to a multitude of titles including: X-men, Deadpool, Gen 13, Xena, Spiderman, Batman and Robin, Wetworks, Green Lantern, Plastic Man, The Flash, Takion, Star Trek, and the self-published CHIX and Atomic Toybox. He most recently worked on some Uncanny X-Men issues and the Left Behind series for Tyndale.

According to CrossGen

Veteran artist Aaron Lopresti will take over as the full-time penciler for Mystic as of issue #31, on sale this December.

Lopresti, as everyone who has been brought into the CrossGen fold, has his own story of how he found himself in Tampa.

"I talked to Walt Simonson - he mentioned he was doing a fill-in on the Path for Bart (Sears), and I said, 'They're doing freelance stuff?'" Lopresti said. "I called Barbara Kesel and then Tony Bedard just to test the freelance market. That's when CrossGen gave me a Sojourn fill-in. Then Bart called and said something may be opening up, and so we talked a long time in San Diego. Well, I was home only one day after the end of the San Diego Con and then he said, 'When can you come out to visit?' We came out a few days after San Diego, and it was a whirlwind romance. Frankly, turning comics into a real job after being freelance for 10 years just sounded so good. I asked for the dirt on these guys from my friends in the industry, and all I got back was that CG seemed to be doing everything the right way. Instead of coming out and thinking 'How many months do they have left?' I saw that they were doing everything the right way and going to be around a long time."

Very intersting, und ich hab die US Ausgaben der Uncanny X-Men auch schon gelesen - die sind echt gut! Aber was jez aus Fabrizio wird, steht immernoch net .... ich fand seine Zeichnungen bisher eigendlich gar net so schlecht ... wer weiss, vielleicht nimmt die Qualität in den nächsten Bändern zunehmend ab??!(paradoxes Wortspiel, eh?:D)
