REBEL STUDIOS RETURNS FROM THE DEAD - FIRST UP...FAUST
While Faust co-creator David Quinn was busy previewing the film version of he and Tim Vigil`s character at Fangoria`s Weekend of Horrors convention over the weekend, Quinn pulled a little comic book news out as well. "As a publisher, Rebel Studios has risen from its grave," Quinn announced to cheers from the audience.
Quinn explained that he and his partner Tim Vigil were returning to self-publishing this August, commencing with Rebel Studios’ Faust Communion Collection, the first of several trade paperbacks collecting the original Faust Acts. In October, Rebel will present the beginning of the long-awaited conclusion of Love of the Damned, Faust Act 12. California-based Rebel Studios, one of the original independents of the early 90s, was founded by Tim Vigil, who will continue to act as publisher and art director, joined by Quinn, handling marketing and licensing. Quinn promised more publishing schedule details soon.
Quinn and Vigil will also continue to work with other publishers, including Avatar Press, the publisher of several Faust spinoffs. In fact, Quinn mentioned that he and Vigil are returning to the character that was a landmark for both the creators and the Illinois-based publisher, to produce 777: The Final Wrath some time in the next year. A trade paperback edition of Faust/The Wrath: Darkness in Collision is still available from Avatar Press, and eventually, all the Quinn/Vigil Avatar projects (Faust: The Book
of M, Faust: The Singha’s Talons, 777: The Wrath) will be collected.
In addition to the video/DVD film release, and the return of the original Faust from the Rebels, Quinn highlighted other upcoming material "Faustians" might want to be aware of:

Faust: Love of the Damned Screenplay—The Creators’ Cut (Dark Tales, Paperback
