Clazziquai, also known as Clazziquai Project, is a South Korean experimental band that combines several genres including electronic music, acid jazz and house. The group's first short unofficial albums were released online in 2001, spreading its music through words of "netizens," who positively received the group's music. They remained underground until the release of their first album Instant Pig in 2004, selling over 80,000 copies. Since then, their music has been used in various television commercials, shows, and films, and they have been given the chance to perform at various events.
Clazziquai is known for their songs, "Be My Love" and "She Is", which were featured on the Korean drama My Lovely Samsoon, with the former becoming the show's theme song. The group won an award at the MNET KM Music Video Festival for "Best Soundtrack", and has also been the most nominated group at the Korean Popular Music Awards II, winning "Artist of the Year" and "Best Pop". They have contributed to works by Japanese artists Fantastic Plastic Machine and M-Flo.

Kennt die wer? o.o ich hab sie vor kurzen über dem Sender Arirang kennengelernt und war sofort begeistert :D Mein momentaner lieblings Song von denen ist 'Tell yourself'. Einfach genial >.<

also ich kenne die gruppe, allerdings nur ein paar lieder. "Love Mode", "Come to me" oder "Dance" finde ich zb. richtig gut.^^

Oh, ich kenn die natürlich auch!^^
Hab sie damals auch über Arirang TV kennen gelernt und das war so am Anfang, als ich langsam Interesse an KPop und überhaupt koreanischer Musik bekam. Ich find Alex' Stimme einfach toll, Horan find ich aber auch nicht schlecht~

Übrigens find ich die Cover der Alben irgendwie toll... Vor allem Instant Pig und Color your soul.

Ich kenn bloß ein paar Lieder, aber die mag ich auch alle (Ok, zwei weitere kenn ich noch, aber die mochte ich nicht, hab auch deren Titel vergessen):
- She Is (der Song ist so traurig... jedenfalls empfind ich den immer so. War einer der ersten Songs, wo plötzlich bei mir Tränen kamen (ja, ok, zu der Zeit ging's mir auch extrem mies), und das passiert eigentlich fast nie. Ich find die Musik und die Art wie Alex den Song singt so... melancholisch, auch das MV... man, die heulen da irgendwie alle und ahaben Wuttränen in den Augen, deshalb hat sich der Song bei mir wohl in die traurige Songriege eingereiht...)
- Tell yourself
- Dance
- After Love (das MV... find ich irgendwie voll scary... :ugly:")

Seit dem Release von Alex Chu's zweitem Solo-Album "Just Like Me" höre ich dieses rauf und runter und kramte die alten Clazziquai Alben wieder raus (höre seitdem vorallem "Color Your Soul" wieder täglich). Sein erster Alleingang "My Vintage Romance" konnte mich schon überzeugen, doch schätze ich vorallem am neuen Werk den fast ausschließlichen Einfluss vom Acid Jazz, Soul und Groove-Elementen.

Der Title Track "Michyeobolyeo Haedo (If I Try to Go Crazy)" (Track 6) hat es mir besonders angetan, zusammen mit "Yaegi (Talk)" (Track 7) und dem Duett "Doedollil Su Issdamyeon (If I Could Bring It Back)" (Track 5) für den "Late Autumn" Soundtrack, in welchem ihn Jane musikalisch unterstützt. Eines der schönsten Alben das ich zuletzt hörte (mit Adele's "21" zusammen).

Mein Lieblingstitel ist und bleibt bis heute "Kissing Me" von Alex Chu feat. Daniel Henney & Uhm Jung Hwa. Stimmlich so schön sanft gehalten bei den grandiosen Jazzeinlagen, so dass man beim Titel nichts als Träumen kann. Dicht gefolgt von Clazziquai's "Dance", "Tell Yourself", "She Is" und "Come To Me". (Wie ich oben an den Beiträgen sehe sinds' auch bei mir die 'üblichen Verdächtigen' an Lieblingen).
