A wandering warrior is beset by a group of soldiers and is fighting hard to stay alive. His skill is superior, but their numbers are beginning to wear him down. Their battle awakens a boy sleeping hidden in a field of flowers. The soldiers attempt to kill the boy so he can't be a witness, but he draws a sword and sweeps through them like lightning. Together, the warrior and the boy defeat their attackers. Strangely, the boy doesn't know where he is, nor does he recognize any place names. He concludes that he must have been transported to this land, Pallast, from a different world entirely. All he has with him are his clothes, his sword, and the circlet on his forehead. Having nothing better to do, he joins the warrior.
The boy is certainly out of the ordinary, and not just his skill with a sword. Though only thirteen, he speaks with the insight of a grown man, and he can outrace the warrior's horse with ease. When the two wash themselves off in a river, however, it is the boy's turn to be shocked--he has not simply traveled to another world, he has also been changed into a girl.

Lucifard Oscarstein is a highly decorated miliary officer. He is an inhumanly attractive man who keeps his eyes covered behind dark glasses at all times so that those around him aren't dazzled by his beauty. When he removes them, everyone stops and stares at him, entranced. He was born with incredibly strong psychic powers that affect physical objects and electrical machines. He inherited his powers from his father, who is a telepath and a high-ranking officer in Military Intelligence.
Lucifard has an odd relationship with his father, Olivie Oscarstein (known as O2). They only lived together for three years before Lucifard's mother took him with her to live in space as a bounty hunter. O2 never showed much affection for his son, except for one time when Lucifard was kidnapped by scientists. They performed experiments on him because of his powers and were just about to dissect him when O2 showed up and rescued him, destroying the lab in the process. Because of that, Lucifard can't help admiring his father, even though the man never really *acted* much like a father.

According to centuries-old tradition, in order to be recognized as lord, the White Dragon must win the support of the leader of the Howaluu, a group of street toughs who maintain order in the red light district. Since the previous Howaluu leader suicided when the former White Dragon died, neither Max nor his uncle knows the identity of his successor. However, Max is able to pick him out of a crowd of Howaluu by his gaze.

Sanshirou awakens from a year of coldsleep on his first "Paradise Flight." He is part of the four-member crew in charge of the second shift of a three-year journey. His anticipation turns to dismay when he discovers that his assigned "buddy" is male. Although the question of sexual orientation is a thing of the past for most people, Sanshirou has an old-fashioned preference for women. Further analysis of the Federation computer's mistake in choosing his partner is forestalled as an alarm sounds.
Sanshirou and his new partner rush to the Bridge, where the other two crew members attempt to compensate for a sudden ion storm wreaking havoc with the equipment. Sanshirou expediently corrects the problem by pulling the plug on the subcomputer--a method that is quick yet potentially dangerous, as his by-the-book partner Kai lectures him. A round of introductions follow. The pair sharing their shift consists of the civilian officer Lord, a former professor of theoretical mathematics, and the military officer Sandra, in training to become a military starship captain.

The prince, Ryuuki, was coronated six months ago at the age of nineteen. He shows no interest in governing, spending all his time wandering the palace at random. On top of that, he has gained a reputation for sharing the bed of a different servant every night--and only male servants. His ministers and advisors are desperate to whip him into shape and make a proper emperor of him, but nothing they do has any effect. Finally the three top advisors--Shou Taishi, the Prime Minister, Sou Taifu, a war hero, and Sa Taiho--devise a plan to marry him off to a strong young woman and have her do the job for them.

The one they choose for the position is Kou Shuurei, daughter of Kou Shouka, the oldest male in the direct line of descent of the powerful Kou noble family. Shouka should have been living in luxury in Kou District as the head of the family, but he turned down the position and went to live in the capital instead. He was given a job at the palace with a respectable (though considered by most to be useless) title--Imperial Archivist--and a salary fitting for his rank. However, he did nothing but spend all day reading in the archives, oblivious to pretty much everything. The Registry Minister in charge of payroll began gradually reducing his salary, yet Shouka never uttered a word of complaint. Eventually he and his daughter plunged into such poverty that Shuurei had to go into town and search for odd jobs to supplement the family income so they wouldn't starve.

Ever since she was little, Shuurei had dreamed of passing the test to become a government official. She was crushed when she learned that women weren't allowed to take it. Instead of giving up, she continued to study and turned her efforts to tutoring children in the area so that the boys could grow up to become officials in her place. Shuurei's mother had passed away years ago, but Shouka had taken in a young man he named Seiran who helped out around the estate and got a job as a palace guard to contribute his meager earnings to supporting the family.

Goth von Otsuichi
A rather morbid, sombre manga about two high school students, Kamiyama Itsuki and Morino Yoru, who have a peculiar interest in deaths and especially in murders that are committed near to them. Due to their strong fascination with murder and highly-developed analytical skills(along with some luck), they manage to solve the murders that have even eluded the authorities. However, acting on their own sense of justice and in self-interest, the murderers are often able to escape with the murders that they have committed. Often, it is Kamiyama that solves the cases even to the most subtle of details, but he is only interested in one thing, and that is the method to which Yoru Morino should be killed.

Ten years later, Jirou heads to Japan with his little brother, Kotarou, in hopes of reaching The Special Zone, a thriving secret city where vampires live. They soon realize that a plan to infiltrate The Special Zone is being hatched by the Kowloon Children survivors. As they travel to The Special Zone, Jirou encounters enemies from the past and new threats that may endanger the safety of the Special Zone. The abduction of Kotarou, by one of the Kowloon Children, thrusts him even further into the battle.

Kara no Kyokai von Kinoko Nasu/ Takeshi Takeuchi (10 Bände)
Kara no Kyoukai is a series of stories written by Kinoko Nasu with illustrations by Takeshi Takeuchi.

The first five chapters were posted online on Nasu and Takeuchi's dojin website "Takebouki" starting Oct 1998, and the last two chapters being released at Comiket 56 in 1999. In 2001, part of the story was included in "Tsukihime PLUS-DISK," created by TYPE-MOON, the doujin circle Nasu and Takeuchi joined. The story gained huge popularity, and the doujinshi edition of the stories saw release on December 30, 2001 at Comiket 61.

Added to the complexity is that there are three kinds of demons: Lesser demons, which are little more than beasts, are the most common; minor demons have more power and thus appear more humanoid; and noble demons are extremely powerful, yet are few in number, with an overall population of about fifty. Kyon ist ein gewöhnlicher Schüler, der gerade auf die Oberschule gewechselt ist, und nicht mehr an Zeitreisende, Außerirdische oder Telepathie glaubt, seitdem er die Mittelschule verlassen hat. Ausgerechnet die hinter ihm sitzende Haruhi Suzumiya – ein schönes, intelligentes und aufgewecktes Mädchen, das allerdings auch als exzentrisch und unberechenbar gilt und soziale Kontakte meidet – erzählt bei der ersten Vorstellung vor der Klasse, dass sie sich nur für Aliens, ESP-Begabten, Zeitreisenden und ähnlichen Abnormalitäten interessiert und für „normale Menschen“ wenig übrig hat. Nachdem er einen Kommentar zu der Unzufriedenheit Haruhis über die existierenden Schulclubs geäußert hat, findet er sich selbst als Mitglied eines neu gegründeten Schulclubs, der SOS-Brigade (SOS, dt. Die hier unterstütze ich. Vampire Hunter D würde sich ja anbieten dank des Mangas, der rauskommt. Sanzen Sekai ist eine sehr ungewöhnliche Mischung und Sci-Fi.
Und Ai no Kusabi ist sozusagen einer der Klassiker schlechthin...

Alle 3 Novels stammen aus der Feder von Sakiya Haruhi, wurden von Nekota Yonezou illustriert und bilden eine Triologie (ob es noch weitere geben wird weiß ich momentan nicht)
Leider habe ich nirgendswo nicht-japanische Inhaltsangaben gefunden. (wenn jemand dazu Ihaltsangaben findet, mir bitte ne PN schicken und ich ergänze das hier)
Da ich aba zu den drei Novels die Illustrationen kenne, kann ich sagen, dass die Novels sehr interessant wirken. Allein der Zeichenstil is schon große klasse

ansonsten stimme ich noch dem Wunsch zu Ai no Kusabi zu.

Gefällt mir der Thread, vllt erhöht das die Chance auf einen Wunsch-Novel :)

Also ich wünsche mir wie Ayumi Novels mit Illus von Nekota Yonezou. Bei den Autorinnen kenn ich mich nicht so aus ^^'
Aber da gibts schon einige von ihr.

Was ich noch toll finden würde, wären Novel mit den Illus von Taishi Zaou. Aber ich weiß nicht ob das geht, weil die Mangas von Taishi Zaou ja bei EMA erscheinen. Trotzdem würde ich mich freuen wenn sie bei Carlsen erscheinen ^_^

Little by little, Masahiro reveals his true power, with Mokkun as his protector and the other shikigami slowly starting to acknowledge him as Seimei's successor. Trying hard to become the best onmyouji, to surpass his grandfather-"the old racoon" or "tanuki"- he has to stop the foreign demons who came from China and keep his promise of protecting the princess of the Fujiwara Clan.
After defeating the demons from China, Masahiro returns back to his normal routine. However, a mysterious woman named Kazane comes and summons a vengeful spirit to wreck havoc in the capital. It is later discovered that her purpose is to kill Masahiro's grandfather. Now Seimei and Masahiro have to deal with this new opponent.

"Baccano", which Narita translates as "stupid commotion", is Italian for "ruckus". Each of the stories in the series involves several unrelated plots intersecting and crossing each other as events spiral farther and farther out of control. Immortal alchemists, mafia operated speakeasies, and many other elements of pulp fiction mashed together for a world straight out of the movies.

In 1711, a group of alchemists seeking eternal life gathered on a boat to summon the "demon" that held the secret. The demon agreed to give them what they wanted—an elixir of life, the method to create more, and the secret to ending their new-found existence. The following night, alchemists began disappearing, "eaten" by one of their own. Realizing the threat being close together posed, they decided to scatter across the world.

Crest of the Stars sowie Banner of the Stars handeln von Jinto Lynn, einem jungen Prinzen. Als Jinto noch ein kleiner Junge war, fand eine Invasion seiner Heimatwelt Martine durch die Abh statt, eine von den Menschen abstammende Rasse, die fast ausschließlich im Weltraum lebt. Jintos Vater Rock Lynn, zur Zeit der Invasion Präsident von Martine, kapitulierte im Austausch gegen Adelstitel und die weitere Herrschaft über Martine. Der junge Jinto wurde in eine Schule geschickt, wo er die Werte der Abh lernen sollte. Nach Abschluss dieser Schule soll er seine Ausbildung an einer Militärschule fortsetzen. Auf dem Weg dorthin wird er zunächst von der jungen Abh Lafiel mit einem Shuttle zum Raumschiff Gauthloth gebracht. Auf dem Weg dorthin werden Jinto und Lafiel Freunde. An Bord angekommen erfährt Jinto von der Kommandantin der Gauthloth, dass Lafiel eine Prinzessin ist und zur Herrscherfamilie der Abh gehört, was die Beziehung zwischen Jinto und Lafiel erheblich kompliziert. Die Reise mit der Gauthloth währt noch nicht lange, da finden sich die beiden Hauptpersonen der Geschichte bereits mitten in den Anfängen eines Krieges zwischen dem Kaiserreich der Abh und der Allianz der vier Nationen der Menschheit wieder.

Leider kenne ich ich zwei, aber ich habe gelesen ,dass es von Gravitation, Only the ringfinger knows (3) und Gakuen heaven welche geben soll. Die würde ich gerne lesen.

Kyon ist ein gewöhnlicher Schüler, der gerade auf die Oberschule gewechselt ist, und nicht mehr an Zeitreisende, Außerirdische oder Telepathie glaubt, seitdem er die Mittelschule verlassen hat. Ausgerechnet die hinter ihm sitzende Haruhi Suzumiya – ein schönes, intelligentes und aufgewecktes Mädchen, das allerdings auch als exzentrisch und unberechenbar gilt und soziale Kontakte meidet – erzählt bei der ersten Vorstellung vor der Klasse, dass sie sich nur für Aliens, ESP-Begabten, Zeitreisenden und ähnlichen Abnormalitäten interessiert und für „normale Menschen“ wenig übrig hat. Nachdem er einen Kommentar zu der Unzufriedenheit Haruhis über die existierenden Schulclubs geäußert hat, findet er sich selbst als Mitglied eines neu gegründeten Schulclubs, der SOS-Brigade (SOS, dt. Suzumiya Haruhis Gruppe, um die Stimmung auf der Welt beträchtlich zu bessern) wieder. Mit diesem will sie übernatürlichen Vorkommnissen auf die Spur kommen.

Na, Hirose ist der älteste Bruder von Koji. ^_~ Lang wohl nicht mehr Zetsuai/ Bronze lesen, was? ;) :engel: Ja, es stimmt, sie handeln von ihm. Ich mag Hirose zwar auch nicht besonders, trotzdem würde ich sie gerne lesen. Sie gehören eben einfach dazu.

Story: Es geht um Kazuma Kannagi der vier Jahre zuvor von seiner Kusine Ayano Kannagi besiegt wurde. Deswegen und wegen seinem mangelndem Talent für En-Jutsu, die Feuerkunst die jeder in seiner Familie besitzt wird er aus der Familie ausgestoßen. Vier Jahre später kehrt er zurück und ist nun ein Meister der Fk-Jutsu (Windkünste).
Doch durch einige seltsame Morde die mit Fk-Jutsu angerichtet in seiner Nähe wurden gerät er unter Verdacht.

Aber soweit ich bin stimmt das "zurzeit 4" nicht ganz. Müsste abgeschlossen sein.

Gibt nämlich dort ne 2-bändige Version, die abgeschlossen ist, aber auch etwas dicker ist.

Denke, dass die 4 Bände noch weniger Seiten haben.

Despite having the responsibility to watch over the town, she wants to go back to her homeland in the north called Yoitsu; she believes the people have already forsaken her anyway and that she has kept her promise to maintain the good harvests.
Horo wants also to travel to see the world how the world has changed while she has remained in one place for years. She manages to bargain her way out of the village by making a deal with Lawrence to take her with him. As they travel, her wisdom helps increase his profits, but at the same time, her true nature draws unwanted attention from the church.

Ich weiß nicht so recht ob das hier rein passt, denn ich denk mal das ist eher ein Nippon novel, wie ihr es nennt.
Aber ich hätte gerne Nobuta Wo Produce von Gen Shiraiwa.

Story: (leider konnte ich vom Roman keine finden, das ist dann die story der Live Action)

Shuji Kiritani (Kazuya Kamenashi) sieht seine Zeit an der Schule als ein Spiel. Ein Spiel, bei dem es gilt zu überleben, weshalb er sich eine Maske aufsetzt. Er ist der coolste Typ an der Schule, kommt mit jedem zurecht und hat das schönste Mädchen der Schule als Freundin. Doch in Wirklichkeit hat Shuji nicht einen einzigen richtigen Freund unter seinen zahllosen Kumpels. Selbst seine Freundin liebt er nicht wirklich, sondern geht lediglich mit ihr aus um sein Image zu wahren. Nur eine Person kann Shuji wirklich überhaupt nicht leiden, Akira Kusano (Tomohisa Yamashita). Kusano ist ein nervender und merkwürdiger Geselle, der Shuji oft hinterherläuft und an diesem ein besonderes Interesse hat. Vielleicht ist er der Einzige, der bemerkt hat, dass Shuji bisher niemandem seinen wahren Charakter gezeigt hat?
Eines Tages kommt die neue Schülerin Nobuko Kotani (Maki Horikita) in die Klasse. Sie ist ruhig, spricht komisch, bewegt sich komisch und hat immer eine Aura der Dunkelheit um sich. Sie ist prädestiniert dazu von ihren Mitschülern schikaniert zu werden und genau das passiert auch auf manchmal sehr harte Weise. Kotani scheint sich daran jedoch schon seit langem gewöhnt zu haben. Shuji entwickelt aber ein Interesse an ihr, denn bevor er die Schule abschließt, will er noch etwas Außergewöhnliches gemacht haben. Zusammen mit Akira nimmt er sich vor, die nun getaufte Nobuta zu "producen", so dass sie schon bald das beliebteste Mädchen an der Schule wird. Eine Aufgabe, die wirklich nicht leicht ist, zumal Nobuko/Nobuta nicht bereit ist sich zu verleugnen und einen anderen Charakter zu spielen als der, der sie ist. Shuji trifft sich immer nur im Geheimen mit den beiden, muss allerdings einsehen, dass er durch die zwei lernt ehrlicher zu werden und lernt dabei auch noch andere wichtige Dinge für das Leben. Was anfangs unmöglich erschien passiert - die drei werden Freunde.

Auch wenn die Novel eher folgende Geschichte hat:

The Dorama and the novel hold several key differences. The first being the absence of an Akira character and the second being the fact that Nobuta is a chubby, greasy boy. Shuuji begins to produce Nobuta out of boredom, which leads to essentially the same effect as the drama only the consequences are much more negative. In fact the tone of the novel itself is more negative and serious than the drama. There is also romantic compitition between Nobuta and Shuuji for Mariko's affections. While the drama and the novel are different in many aspects, however, they both explore essentially the same themes.

naja, light novels sind auserhalb japans ja noch eher in den kinderschuhen.
denke, dass da nicht sofort die großen (und teureren) geschütze aufgefahren werden, ohne zu wissen, ob das format anklang findet.
aber das haruhi in den usa nicht lizensiert ist, verwundert dennoch ein wenig.
da ist das ja schon eher in schwung gekommen.

Ich hätte da auch en Vorschlag, den man ins "leichte Novellen"-Programm aufnehmen könnte.
Light Novels sind saumässig teuer. Aber wenn ich weiss, dass ein Verlag sich gut überlegt hat, ob der Manga in diese Genre passt, dann kann ich darauf vertrauen, dass es ein guter Manga ist, mit tiefgründigem Niveau. Daher gebe ich gern Geld aus für so dicke, teure, grosse "Bücher". :rolling:

Ich finde Jiro Taniguchi super gut. Ich hoffe, es werden weiterhin Werke von ihm veröffentlicht.
Gern würde ich auch mehr von Kiriko Nananan lesen.

Kiriko Nananan ist eine Vorreiterin des Genres der josei manga (jp. josei " dt. Frau, Comics für junge erwachsene Frauen). Ihr Blick auf Jugendliche in Japan ist zugleich zärtlich und realistisch, einfühlsam und scharf...
Kiriko Nananan schreibt nicht einfach spannende Geschichten, sondern sie bringt ihre Figuren in starke Emotionen, und man ist immer wieder gespannt, wie es nun weiter gehen könnte. In ihren Werken spricht sie auch Tabuthemen an, die vor allem junge Frauen ansprechen. (echt nichts für jüngeres Publikum)

Ihr scheinbar bekanntestes Werk "blue" ist bereits unter dem Label Shodoku beim schreierundleser-Verlag erschienen. Aber da ich mir mal keine Hoffnungen mache, dass die noch mehr von ihr veröffentlichen, hoffe ich, dass noch mehr von ihr beim Carlsen Verlag erscheint. Zum Beispiel der Titel: strawberry shortcakes, welcher auch sehr bekannt ist.

Takaya Ohgi is just a typical high school guy who wants nothing more than to protect his best friend and live a normal life. Enter Nobutsuna Naoe, an older man who informs Takaya that he is in fact the reincarnation of Lord Kagetora. Naoe, himself a possessor, awakens Takaya's abilities to exorcise evil spirits and fight the Fuedal Underworld. While most possessors remember their former lives before being reincarnated, Takaya does not. Naoe is thankful for this, considering his passionate and abusive past with his Lord Kagetora. As Takaya improves his abilities , he also begins to remember what Naoe did because of his love for him. Hiroka Soma hingegen gilt als das schönste Mädchen der Schule, aber ihre Gefühle kann sie nie zeigen und deshalb scheint es, dass ihr Herz schwarz wie die Pest ist.

Und dann gibt es noch Yukisada Tamura, der zwischen den beiden seltsamen Mädchen steht...

In each story arc, he or one of his friends become paranoid, and a crime is committed. Usually, the crime involves the murder of one of their own friends.
