Ayasaki Hayate is only 16 years old when he’s abandoned, leaving him to fend for himself against the yakuza, who are after his organs to settle his parents’ massive gambling debt.

Looking for a way to somehow acquire 157 million yen before he is cut up by gangsters, he stumbles upon a rich girl whom he can kidnap and ransom. The only problem: he’s a terrible criminal, and ends up saving her life from other would-be kidnappers and apparently confesses his love for her.

In order to work off his debt, the girl, Nagi (who is convinced that Hayate is in love with her), and her maid Maria (who knows otherwise), allow him to work as a butler at their mansion. Hayate’s tenure as a butler is not easy, however, and is filled with talking tigers, homicidal robots, jealous relatives, and overarchingly, hilarity.

Millennium Snow (千年の雪, Sennen no Yuki?), otherwise known as A Thousand Years of Snow, is the title of a manga series written and illustrated by Japanese manga creator Bisco Hatori

Millennium Snow is a story revolving around the main protagonist Chiyuki Matsuoka who is a high school girl hospitalized with a heart problem. Since birth her heart has been very weak and she was told that she would probably live to be only fifteen. However, one day she meets TMya KanM, a vampire, with the opposite problem: TMya lives for about one thousand years. It's customary for a vampire at his age of 18 to choose a human partner to be with for 1000 years who in turn would let him drink their blood and share his life span for the millennium.

Early in the series, Chiyuki offers TMya her blood, so that she would be able to live longer, but TMya refuses, claiming he dislikes the sight and taste of blood. In the beginning, he even looks down on humans, believing that they are weak creatures who will only die before him and leave him behind.

Meine Güte, wir übertreiben es jetzt nicht ein wenig? Erstens sind das meiste sehr kurze Serien bzw. Einzelbände und zweitens kommen weitaus mehr "normale" Shojos heraus als Boys Love Titel. Hochgerechnet kommen vielleicht 7 BL-Mangas im Monat heraus und das bei über 70. Langsam nervt es echt.

Saiunkoku Monogatari bedeutet übersetzt Die Geschichte von Saiunkoku. Saiunkoku ist ein fiktives mittelalterliches Reich das in acht Provinzen aufgeteilt ist, die von acht Adelsfamilien regiert werden. Aus einer dieser Familien, der Familie Kou, stammt die 16-jährige Shkrei, die Hauptperson der Geschichte. Shkrei führt, trotz ihrer adligen Herkunft, ein sehr einfaches Leben. Sie erledigt für sich und ihren Vater den Haushalt, geht arbeiten und träumt davon an den Prüfungen teilzunehmen um eine Stelle in der Regierung zu bekommen. Das scheint jedoch unerreichbar, da dieser Beruf für Frauen verboten ist.

Shkrei's Leben nimmt eine abrupte Wendung als die Berater des Kaiser ihr ein überraschendes Angebot machen. Sie soll als Kurtisane für den jungen Kaiser dem Kaiserlichen Haushalt für sechs Monate beitreten, um ihm beizubringen ein verantwortungsvoller Herrscher zu werden. Sorry, aber das haut nicht richtig hin.
Als Info: Über dem Daumen gepeilt ist der Marktanteil von Yaoi/Shonen ai etwa 18% und das nur bei den Großverlagen (Calsen, Tokio Pop ...). Die Kleinverlage, dessen Schwerpunkt auf das Subgenre zielt nicht mal mitgerechnet; Sprich mehr als die meisten Genre von sich behaupten können. Mit Übertreiben kommt das wohl nicht hin. Es sind zwar nur kurze Serien und Einzelbände, aber das summiert sich auch ganz schön, da muß ich Caro - chan recht geben. Allerdings zählen Yaoi/Shonen - ai auch zu den Shojos :] (Shojomanga ist auf Mädchen zugeschnitten (Shojo = jap. Mädchen). Ich hab auch, genau wie Caro - chan nichts gegen Shonen - ai, es ist schließlich jeden überlassen, was er lesen will oder was nicht, aber bitte mehr Abwechslung, weil sonst auch die Gefahr einer Übersättigung kommen könnte.

Ach ja, back to topic:
Neben "alles von Tsukasa Hojo" stimme ich auch für Sayuki :rolling:Reloadet :rolling:

Diese Kleinverlage bringen eher Eigenproduktionen und die zähle ich jetzt nicht wirklich mit.
Wenn dieser Marktanteil nur den Anteil der Serien entspricht, dann kann man sagen, dass 18% vielleicht hinhauen würden. Aber bei Einzelbänden und sehr kurzen Serien ist auch die Dauer des Lesevergnügens stark begrenzt. Hingegen Serien mit 10 oder mehr Bänden hat man als Leser einfach mehr davon.
Allein nur nach Serien gehen ist nicht wirklich geschickt. Außerdem habe ich mich auf monatlich (und auch programmmäßig) beschränkt und da ist es nur ein Bruchteil (nehmen wir mal September: Carlsen 2, EMA 2 und TP 0 - Oktober: Carlsen 2, EMA 4 -wobei einer auf jeden Fall umstritten ist- und TP 2 + 1 Roman). Mich interessiert es nicht, wieviel Marktanteil etwas hat, wenn mein Bedarf nicht gesättigt wird. BL ist zwar bei meinem Bedarf eher weiter unten angesiedelt, aber dennoch fehlt da eindeutig etwas (die schrottigen BLs von EMA in ihrem neuen Programm kann man ja sowas von knicken).

Mehr Abwechslung von was? Und alle großen Verläge ist schwachsinn - sorry. TP bringt äußerst Sporadisch BLs raus, Heyne gar nicht und PM gerade mal eine Serie, die aber auch andere Elemente hat.
Bleiben also von den großen Verlägen gerade mal Carlsen und EMA. EMA hat diesen Monat wahnsinnige marktüberschwemmende 2 BLs rausgebracht, Carlsen ebenfalls 2.
Carlsen brachte letzten Monat 3 BLs bei 17 Serien, diesmal 2 bei 18...ich glaub da bleibt noch mehr als genug "anderes"...also diese gefühlte Überschwemmung kann ich bei den Zahlen echt nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Mein Bedarf ist auf jeden Fall alles andere als gesättigt, da EMA eher :ugly: rausbringt im neuen Programm und ich kaufe schon dauernd am amerikanischen Markt ein, weil der deutsche mich nicht befriedigt.

bisher sind 2 Bände erschienen, doch laut meinem Exemplar erscheint Band 3 schon im Dezember.

Story (ich bin nicht gut im erklären): Kio und Fraw - zwei Engel - waren schon von Kindheit an sehr eng miteinander befreundet und Kio hat Fraw immer mal wieder geholfen. Nachdem ihre Ausbildung beendet war haben sie sich versprochen schnell im Rang aufzusteigen, um sich dann wieder sehen zu können.
Nun "arbeitet" Kio als Engel auf der Erde und jagt böse Geister - Manifus - die von Menschen Besitz ergreifen und ihnen schaden. Fraw, der inzwischen einen höheren Rang hat, ist an seiner Seite.

Zusammenfassend mein Pro für die Serie (gibt's ein Kontra? Nein): Hübsche Bishie-Engel, unglaublich schöne Flügel, die auch mal zu etwas gebraucht werden (und nicht nur einmal kurz vorkommen), die Art Federn einzusetzen finde ich auch klasse.
Ein BL mit Story außerhalb von Highschool. Dazu gibt es noch eine Menge Action und wunderschöne ruhige Szenen.
Dazu noch wundervolle Zeichnungen, die einen mitreißen...(einfach beim Link oben schauen).

Hm, es gehört (als Diskussion) eigentlich nicht in diesen Wunsch-Thread, dennoch mal ein kurzes Feedback zu »Mehr oder weniger Boys Love-Titel« und »Marktanteile« :engel::

* Es besteht natürlich ein Unterschied zwischen der Neuheiten-Zahl eines Segments und Marktanteil (in Umsatz). Die erwähnten 18% Boys Love oben stammen eventuell aus der neuen - sehr lesenswerten - MANGASZENE-Spezialausgabe Yaoi/Yuri, nicht? Auf was sie sich genau beziehen (Marktanteil in Umsatz, Anteil neuer Titel pro Monat oder Anteil neuer Serien/Einzeltitel an allen Neuankündigungen), müsste ich aber gerade selbst nachschlagen... ;)

* Die Wahrnehmung von jenen, die Boys Love-Manga nicht mögen (nämlich dass "so viel" oder "zu viel" davon erscheint), wird mit Sicherheit auch dadurch beeinflusst, dass Einzelbände und kurze Serien (wie des öfteren bei Boys Love-Ankündigungen) als neue Projekte in den Programmankündigungen »gefühlt« mehr Aufmerksamkeit erregen, als neue Folgebände einer laufenden Shonen- oder Shojo-Serie.

* Wir machen es natürlich nicht alleine von diesem Thread hier abhängig, welche neuen Serien - und in welcher Genre-Verteilung - wir ins Programm nehmen.

* Und, keine Sorge - egal wie die prozentuale Verteilung ;) der Genres hier im Wunschthread ist, wollen wir bei Carlsen auch in Zukunft ein ausgewogenes Programm für verschiedene Leseinteressen herausbringen.

Story

Ippo Makunouchi is a very shy high school student who never had the time to make friends because he was always busy helping his mother with the family charter boat fishing business. Because he kept to himself, a group of bullies lead by Umezawa got into the habit of picking on him. On one particular day these bullies decided to give him a rather serious beating, but a middle-weight professional boxer who was passing by stopped the bullies and took the injured Ippo to the Kamogawa Gym, owned by retired boxer Genji Kamogawa, to treat his wounds. After Ippo awoke to the sounds of boxers training, the boxer who saved him, Mamoru Takamura, tried to cheer Ippo up by letting him vent his frustrations on a sandbag. It was then that they had their first glimpse into Ippo's talent for boxing. After that incident, Ippo started his regular training and began his path in Japan's professional boxing.

Ein erstklassischer Box Shounen, ein klassiker der eigentlich dazugehört.

Story:
Die Geschichte dreht sich um den jungen Man Shirahama Kenichi(15).
Der junge Spund wird ständig in der Schule gemobbt, doch eines Tages lernt er die neue Schülerin Fkrinji Miu kennen. Die ihm nicht nur mit ihrer Oberweite beeindruckt, sondern auch mit ihren Kampfsport Fähigkeiten.
Nachdem Kenichi den Karate Senpai aus der Schule besiegt gerät er in einem Strudel voller Ereignissen. Er wird verfolgt von Ganoven und Raufbolden die sich mit ihm messen wollen und als ob das nicht genug wäre macht die gefährlichste Gang der Stadt auf ihn Jagd.
Mehr durch Zufall als Absicht wird er Mitglied in dem Dojo RyMzanpaku damit er sich seinen Problemen besser stellen kann, dass das Trainig und die verschiedenen Meister im mehr das Leben zur Hölle machen als die Strasse es je könnten, bemerkt er erst hinterher.

Es ist einfach so genial lustig und süß. Sonst bin ich ja kein Fan von Hoshino Lily, aber der Manga hat es mir sofort angetan. Fantasy, witzig und spannend. Handlung existiert dort auch - obwohl es ein one-shot ist.

Nagasumi besucht seine Großmutter am Meer während der Sommerferien. Als er einmal schwimmen geht, ertrinkt er beinahe, doch zu seinem Glück wird er von einer jungen Meerjungfrau gerettet. Später, als er diese Begebenheit seiner Familie erzählt, taucht ein Mädchen, das sich San nennt, auf und bittet ihn, sie zu heiraten.

Zwei dunkle Typen folgen San, die sie und Nagasumis Familie mit in Sans unterseeisches Heim bringen. Damit nicht genug, offenbaren Sans Eltern doch, dass sie Gangsterbosse sind. Nagasumi wird vor die wahl gestellt, entweder den Tod zu wählen oder San zur Frau zu nehmen. Mit einer gesunden Portion Lebenswillen ausgestattet, entscheidet sich Nagasumi für zweiteres.

Das wär's eigentlich, außer dass Sans Vater und einige seiner Klanmitglieder nicht wirklich begeistert sind von der Vorstellung, dass Nagasumi San den Hof macht, und versuchen seine Beziehung oder ihn aus der Welt zu schaffen.
Und dann wäre da noch die Sache mit der Geheimhaltung von Sans wahrer Identität...

Shiratori hat den Traum, eines Tages ein berühmter Kinderbuchautor zu werden. Zu diesem Zweck besucht er in Tokyo eine Zeichenschule und mietet sich ein Appartment. Dieses jedoch stellt sich als etwas komisch heraus. Ein kleines Haus im japanischen Stil, mitten zwischen den Hochhäusern der Großstadt namens Narutakisou. Aber besonders komisch sind Shiratoris Nachbarn, die alle ihre Eigenarten haben.

Zum einen die lebensfrohe Studentin Momono, die gerne ein Bier in Shiratoris Zimmer trinkt und ihn vom Lernen abhält. Dann Sayoko, eine sehr ruhige und "träge" Frau, mit ihrer Tochter Asami, die im Gegensatz zu ihrer Mutter hart arbeitet. Die beiden Leben in einem Zimmer, nur aus Kartons, vom Tisch über Schränke bis hin zum Bett. Dann gibt es noch Johnny und Haibara, wobei Johnny eine Handpuppe ist, die zuviel redet und Haibara, der nie etwas sagt, von Johnny als "das Extra" bezeichnet wird. Ein weiterer Bewohner des Hauses ist Tamami, ein überaus intelligentes Mädchen mit einem gemeinen Charakter. Tamami ist mit Kozue, der Vermieterin des Hauses eng befreundet.

Kozue ist die Cousine von Shiratori und liebt Umeboshi. Sie ist sehr nett und arbeitet hart um alle Bewohner des Hauses glücklich zu machen.

Die Claymores selbst haben in sich Yomafleisch aufgenommen um zu dem zu werden, was sie sind: Elitekämpferinnen, halb Mensch-halb Yoma. Jedoch können sie auch zu ihren Grenzen kommen und zu viel Yomakraft freisetzen, wodurch sie "erwachen" und selber zu einer Art Yoma würden. u.s.w.
absolut empfehlenswert aufgrund packender Story :D

Story: Yuka Kunitomo ist die Tochter des Schriftstellers Akimitsu Kunitomo, der bekannt auf dem Gebiet Krimi-Romane ist. Vor kurzem hat er zum dritten Mal geheiratet. Mit ihrer neuen Mutter Youkomama versteht sich Yuka sehr gut. Da die neue Mutter erst 28 Jahre alt ist, hat sie zu ihr fast ein schwesterliches Verhältnis. Um sein junges Glück nicht zu stören, hat ihr Vater die Nachbarwohnung für seine Tochter gemietet.
Auf der Highschool hat sie viele Freundinnen und ist auch bei den Jungs recht beliebt. Sie ist hübsch und sehr niedlich und scheint wirklich mit jedem klar zu kommen. Touko Negishi ist ihre beste Freundin, sie wechselt jedoch ihre Freunde wie andere Leute die Unterwäsche. Katsura Ishimara ist eine weitere Freundin von ihr. Sie ist im Basketballclub, ist groß und athletisch, aber in Sachen Liebe fehlt ihr der Mut.
Eines Abends spielt Yuka mit ihrem Vater Golf. Zufällig treffen sie einen Kollegen von ihm: Ryooshiru Shiki, ein berühmter Sozial-Krimi Autor. Sein Sohn geht auf die gleiche Schule Wie Yuka. Da er sie so sympathisch findet, wünscht er sie sich als Schwiegertochter und stellt ihr Empfehlungsschreiben für ihren Sohn aus. Am nächsten Morgen ist Yuka schon etwas neugierig und fragt Touko, ob sie ihn kennt. Doch dies ist leider nicht der Fall.
Nach der Schule bittet Touko Yuka mit zum Karaoke zu gehen. Als Yuka hört, dass sie mit Jungs zum Karaoke gehen soll und dann kurz vorm Ende mit Touko unbemerkt verschwinden soll, damit die Jungs die Rechnung bezahlen müssen, ist sie leicht sauer. Yuka ist mit diesem Plan überhaupt nicht einverstanden. Nur wenige Sekunden später werden sie von Tsukasa und Nozumu, zwei gut aussehenden Jungs, angesprochen und zum Karaoke eingeladen. Yuka hat daher nicht mehr die Möglichkeit mit Touko darüber zu reden. Yuka verliebt sich Hals über Kopf in Nozumu und auch Touko scheint von Tsukasa angetan zu sein. Die vier haben jede Menge Spaß. Kurz vorm Ende geht Touko, wie ausgemacht auf die Toilette. Damit Yuka ihre Freundin nicht im Stich lässt, beschließt sie mitzugehen. Doch dazu kommt es nicht. Nozumu hält Yuka fest. Die beiden Jungs kennen Toukos Masche und wollten für ihre Freunde Rache üben. Die Rechnung bleibt letztendlich an den beiden Mädchen hängen. Yuka ist aber eher traurig, weil sie nun wahrscheinlich ihre Chance bei Nozumu verspielt hat.
Yuka erzählt das Geschehene am nächsten Morgen Katsura, die sofort ausflippt. Nur einen Moment später kommt Touko in den Klassenraum und ist stink sauer. Sie hat herausgefunden, dass die beiden Jungs in ihre Schule gehen und nicht wie sie sagten auf eine andere. Als Yuka das hört, hält sie nichts mehr auf. Sie läuft los in der Hoffnung auf ihren Traummann zu treffen und sie hat Glück. Sie sieht ihn im Gang im Gespräch mit zwei Mädchen. Sie bekommt mit, dass sie ihn „Shiki“ nennen. Dadurch erfährt sie, dass er wirklich der Sohn des Schriftstellers ist. Nach der Schule gibt sie ihm das Empfehlungsschreiben. Sie gesteht ihm, dass sie ihn mag und bittet ihn seine Freundin werden zu können. Nach einer Richtigstellung des gestrigen Geschehens, schlägt Nozumu vor, dass sie seine „Fast-Freundin“ wird. Er erklärt ihr, dass er schon drei Freundinnen hatte, diese aber nach einer Weile meinten, dass er es nicht ernst mit ihnen meint. Deshalb möchte er mit Yuka erstmal auf „Probe“ gehen. Yuka findet es zwar etwas komisch, aber nach dieser Erklärung willigt sie ein. Nun hat sie das Ziel seine richtige Freundin zu werden. Wird sie es schaffen?

Story: Die Eltern der 16-jährigen Moka leben getrennt, weshalb sie lange Zeit von ihrem Bruder Megumu und ihrem Vater getrennt lebte. Allerdings ist Megumu nun aus New York zurückgekehrt und sie leben wieder zusammen. In einer Bücherei lehrnt Moka Masato kennen, der das Buch ließt, für das sie sich interessiert. Nach einem kurzen Gespräch stellt sie fest, dass sie sich in ihn verliebt hat. Allerdings muss sie von einer Freundin erfahren, dass er ein Playboy ist, der sich nur für Mädchen interessiert, die schon einen Freund haben. Damit versucht sie sich abfinden und ihr Leben nurmal weiterzuführen.

Claymore von YAGI Norihiro

n a medieval world, villages are being attacked by the youma, demons that can take the appearance of their victim. The only people who can stop them are the Claymore, a group of young women named for the swords they use. They are half-human, half-demons who, mostly unwillingly, became Claymore.

Don't pass this up as "just another action manga" though- through character development and the author's unique style, this manga isn't to be missed.

ZETMAN von Masakazu Katsura

Jin (der Held der Geschichte) ist ein Junge von ca. 12 Jahren. Er hat keine Eltern. Seine Herkunft ist unbekannt. Er lebt bei einer Gruppe von Obdachlosen. Sein Mentor ist ein alter Mann, den er Großvater nennt. Auf seinem linken Handrücken hat er eine ringförmige Narbe. Ein mysteriöser Geschäftsmann ist hinter ihm her. Doch bevor er ihn finden kann, gerät er in eine Auseinenadersetzung mit einem Mann, der sich auf einmal in ein Monster verwandelt. Dabei wird der "Großvater" tödlich verwundet.
Anscheinend gibt es eine Verbindung zwischen Jin und dem Monster. Der Großvater gehörte einst zu der Organisation, welche diese Monster erschaffen hat. Möglicherweise gehört auch Jin dazu.
Er lernt Akemi eine Nachtklubtänzerin kenne, die ihn bei sich aufnimmt...
Nach diesen Ereignissen ereignet sich ein Time-skip von 5 Jahren, Jin ist nun deutlich älter und hat sich mit den Problemen eines armen, mittellosen Mittelschülers rumzuschlagen, jedenfalls bis die Organisation seinen Großvaters ihn ausfindig macht...
