Frank Cho and Marvel Comics have confirmed for THE PULSE that Cho's co-writing an upcoming Marvel Comic with scribe Brian Michael Bendis. Cho was tightlipped about the work and would only reveal that it takes place in a "post Marvel Civil War universe."

Chris Claremont und Exiles? Naja! Das kann was werden, wird es aber wahrscheinlich nicht. Immerhin wird Paul Pelletier bei der Serie bleiben!

warum sagst du so böse sachen?

1.: Bei Green Lantern hat Pelletier Mitte der 90er hervorragende Arbeit abgeliefert.

2.: Bei Green Lantern, aber auch bei Superboy and the Ravers, war das Zusammenspiel zwischen Ron Marz und Pelletier hervorragend.

3.: Greg Tocchini ist ein guter Zeichner, was ich bisher allerdings von Ion gesehen habe, gefällt mir überhaupt nicht.

4.: Claremont wird Exiles eine neue Ausrichtung geben, Psylocke in das Team holen, und über kurz oder lang wird wohl die Serie eingestellt. Da sollte man lieber einen Wizard-Top 10-Zeichner ins Boot nehmen, damit die Verkaufszahlen besser werden. Was spricht zum Beispiel gegen Larocca? Der hat immer gut mit Claremont gekonnt.

Ich finde es ist der perfekte Titel für ihn, nach 30 Jahren, gibt man ihm einen ehrenvollen Abgang indems er nur noch Storys schreibt, wo ihm keine editoriellen Grenzen gesetzt sind.

Allerdings bin ich jetzt ziemlich sicher, daß Exiles spätestens mit der #100 eingestellt wird.

euch is klar das ihr mich mit euren aussagen in meinem vorhaben claremont in die luft zu sprengen nur stärkt, und euch damit mitschuldig macht, oder?

Na wartet mal ab. Wenn man Clearmont Zeit gibt, seine Storylines zu entwickeln kann es ganz gut werden. Und mit den derzeitigen Exiles Ausgaben bin ich wenig zufrieden. Die Serie verträgt einen Wechsel, auch wenn ich mir jemand anderes als CC gewünscht hätte. Die Sache mit der Einstellung zur Nr. 100 halte ich übrigens für sehr wahrscheinlich. Die Serie wirkt Ideenlos und es dürfte selbst einen guten Autor schwer fallen, da was wirklich neues zu bieten. Aber vielleicht werde ich ja mit meiner Prognose Lügen gestraft. Würde mich freuen.

Panini S.p.A. and Marvel Entertainment, Inc. announced today that they have renewed and expanded their existing publishing agreement for Marvel Comics under which Panini retains a master license for Europe and selected Latin American countries to translate and publish all comics, trade paperbacks, graphic novels, encyclopaedias and art books released by Marvel in the United States. The new agreement was announced by Marco Lupoi, Panini Group Publishing Director and Bruno Maglione, President of Marvel Entertainment International.

Notable in the new agreement is an ambitious expansion of editorial projects where Panini will originate new content under the creative supervision of Marvel. Panini will continue to develop the top-selling Spectacular Spider-Man and Marvel Rampage children’s magazines and spin these out to the rest of the licensed territories in a variety of new formats including hardcover books and digests. Additionally, Panini will originate a third magazine aimed at younger readers and will develop new short Marvel comic strip stories for syndication in newspapers and periodicals throughout the license Territory.

Finally, Panini will publish a series of selected new Marvel projects aimed primarily at the international market , including -

• An X-Men mini-series and a Young Dr Strange mini-series produced by Red Whale, artists of the top selling Disney W.I.T.C.H. title and acclaimed creators of the Monster Allergy comics

• A Women of The X-Men graphic novel written by X-Men icon Chris Claremont and illustrated by top-selling European artist Milo Manara

• A Wolverine graphic novel written by Jean-David Morvan with art by Philippe Buchet, two of the main stars of the French comic book industry and authors of the best selling series Sillage.

• A Daredevil/Captain America graphic novel written by Tito Faraci and drawn by Claudio Villa, top artist of Italy’s iconic and top-selling comic book title - Tex.

• A complete collection of Stan Lee and John Romita’s Spider-Man daily strips and Sunday pages, originally published in 1977-1980 and never before re-printed in their totality in book format.

Nebenbei bedeutet das, dass Marvel Deutschland die Lizenz behält.
