In 1995, I created "Kevin & Kell" to take advantage of the new
medium, the Internet. I was delighted to find that this provided me with
freedoms unknown with my syndicate strips, since the archives enabled me to
do more complex and involving storylines without confusing the audience.
Even better, readers were inspired to contact me with feedback and
questions.
Initially, the strip was financed through banner advertising. Well, I
probably don't have to tell you what's happened with banner ads in recent
times. I want "Kevin & Kell" to remain free to the audience, so I'm turning to you, the readers. That's the purpose of this Patron program.
By making a contribution you can receive various "K&K" items such as prints,
buttons, T-shirts, etc, along with the knowledge that you're helping keep the
strip up and running. Thanks; the strip would not exist without you.
