Vor gut einem Jahr war bereits bekannt, dass Disney einen Regisseur für das Sequel des erfolgreichen Films Verwünscht gefunden hat. Nun hat dieser, Adam Shankman, in einem Interview über den Fortschritt einer weiteren Produktion gesprochen.
Amy Adams hat bereits einer potentiellen Fortsetzung zugesagt. Der Film soll zudem 10 Jahre später stattfinden.
Voraussichtlich sollen Dreharbeiten im Sommer beginnen bzw. Produktion.

Folgendes wurde in dem Interview gesagt:

“We are handing in a script in a couple weeks that I’m super happy with,” Shankman said. “Then gotta get the music written.”

“The fundamental story has changed a little bit, but not from the base story of it,” Shankman said. “It’s about Giselle 10 years later going, ‘What is happily ever after?’”

“There’s a lot more songs this time than there were in the original, at least in the planning phase right now,” Shankman said.

“As for the animation, it’s probably about the same amount.”
