From a question that someone had asked via Twitter on the current works in progress.
We are aware that it feels like a chaos of a schedule to have multiple open-ended projects that we'd chip away at here and there, and have many updates on "this is what we are doing now - THIS open project (or as the Chinese readers would like to call it "holes")". Truth is - we (more like me than Jo TBH) get very restless when we are stuck in ONE project. I am the kind of gal who will go outside and wash my car on the eve of the exam day. I focus better when I have different projects open and I will just work on whatever the mood strikes. It's a rather terrible habit to have on a professional schedule but.... (you knew this about me when you married me Jo!)
So the current schedule thus far for the year looks like this:
Undertow (40% plus the ending of it was actually written 3 years ago. We just decided to pick it back up and finishing it now since there's a demand for Katsuya's backstory after Maybe Someday came out). We are looking to having it out for C89.
ITW13-15 and complete 16 in Spring so we can get Volume 3 out by winter of next year.
The Doll: The novel's complete. The illustration's being done piece-meal in between 'breaks' if you will. So you have to harass Jo for its completion.
Bad Company 2: This is the only title that has a firm deadline as that this is due to be out for C88 in Aug.
Also currently - Jo is under contract for a professional publication for 3 covers in Japan. So this will be the interruptus that will be setting some of the above back by a week or so here and there.
Of course - we do likes of PAPER DOLL just to have fun and that's our 'break' from the work, if you will. Asides from the business travels that will take us off the grid for a bit - we really have no down time.
Not that we are complaining. We really love what we do to the point that we want to do everything at once and update you every few days if we can. So please pardon the 'holes' - we really will fill them!
OK! We are back to work!
