Ich bin seit dem Trailer, wo man sich bereits einen kleinen Teil von „Rose“ anhören konnte, super gespannt auf die neuen Versailles-Songs (und auf die wunderschöne Box). Mir gefällt sehr, was man dort zu hören bekommt.
Diese Hörproben machen mich echt noch neugieriger – besonders auch was den Song „Ayakashi“ betrifft.

An Important message from Versailles was released on Kamijo World today.

An Important Announcement From Versailles:

Dear Enduring, Loyal Supporters,

We would like to announce that Versailles has decided to stop all activities by the closing of the year.
Being our 5th anniversary — and without a clear direction heading into the future – we have decided it was in the best interest of the band and the music, our staff and supporters, in order to pursue our artistic and personal goals outside the current framework, to stop all our activities by the end of 2012.

Since the beginning the “ROSE” has played a central role, both thematically and symbolically, for Versailles. The “ROSE”, which is also the title song of their 5th anniversary single, is about birth, becoming and being – in short, their story to the world.

The band will release their farewell album September 26th and tour domestically soon afterwards. On December 20th, Versailles will have their grand finale which be performed at NHK Hall in Tokyo.

Please come and show your support to Versailles and their final journey.

Ist es dann also doch wahr?! Ich weiss immernoch nicht so recht, was ich von der Mitteilung davon halten soll.
Sollte es tatsächlich stimmen, ist es sehr schade - und es kommt sehr überraschend.
Wie heißt es so schön: Wenn es am Schönsten ist, soll man aufhören. Aber die Bandmember wissen schon, was und warum sie es tun.

Zumindest wird zum Abschluss noch ein Versailles-Album am 26.09.2012 erscheinen.
Allerdings bezweifle ich, das Versailles eine allerletzte Europa Tour 2012 machen können. Das klappt wahrscheinlich zeitlich nicht mehr.

Ka-mi schrieb im Animexx-Versailles-Zirkel folgendes zum Disbanding-Thema:

Ist alles etwas verwirrend, aber die Nachricht ist wahr!
Wir (das ST) haben auch eine E-mail vom Management mit gleichem Inhalt bekommen. Das heißt, es hat nichts damit zu tun, dass die Homepage auch noch gehackt wurde... Wie gesagt, ist anzunehmen, dass es sich um eine PAUSE handelt, allerdings ist nicht klar für wie lange...
Außerdem möchte ich anmerken, dass die Nachricht vom Management stammt und nicht von den Members selbst verfasst wurde... Warten wir also auf deren Statement dazu...

Hm, also hat das deutsche Versailles Streetteam die Info auch direkt per Email zugeschickt bekommen.
Es ist wohl nur noch nicht klar, ob es jetzt eine komplette Bandauflösung oder nur eine Pause sein wird.
Obwohl auch wenn es unter Pausierend läuft, ist es im Endeffekt meistens dasselbe wie eine Bandauflösung...
Da heißt es, Abwarten und Tee trinken, bis weitere Infos von den jeweiligen Bandmembern kommen...

Versailles’ Announcement Update

As we posted earlier this morning, Versailles has announced that they will be stopping activities at the end of the year.


Many fans have realized that the message went up and down on the official site numerous times, and it seems that the it was originally made to come out tomorrow. Rumours say a hacker interfered with the band’s site, also posting a video and tour dates of a completely different artist.


The same announcement is now posted on their official site. Some fans have pointed out that in the original Japanese announcement they have used 「休止」 regarding their activities and that the English reads ‘activity stop’. Please note that along with meaning rest, 「休止」 can also mean stop, and as the English announcement posted earlier is directly from the band’s site, we can only assume that the translation is correct unless it’s clearly confirmed otherwise.


Along with the announcement to end their activities, Versailles have announced both a final tour, and album.


The third album, which titled 「Versailles, will come out on September 26th in two types. A first press edition that contains a CD and DVD for 3600 yen, and a regular edition (CD only) for 3159 yen. More details on that as they are released.


Their final tour will be called “Chateau de Versailles” and it kicks off on November 11th.

Na super und im anderen Thread schrieb ich noch VK ist noch nicht verloren, so langsam aber wohl schon...

Wie bereits an anderer Stelle gesagt, würde ich erst einmal abwarten - Kamijo kann nicht ohne pompöse barocke Band existieren, was die Vergangenheit mehr als eindrucksvoll bewiesen hat: Lareine hat er ewig und drei Tage künstlich am Leben erhalten, teilweise auch als reines Soloprojekt, und bei NEW SODMY - eine Band ganz ohne VK-Einschlag - wirkte der Mann wie ein ausgesetztes Kind.

Hizaki ist eh 'ne Edeltranse und dürfte auch nicht auf einmal aus der Szene verschwinden.

Selbst wenn Versailles wirklich nach exakt fünf Jahren vorbei sein sollt, dürfte man von beiden noch etwas zu hören bekommen. Wäre zwar beschissen ohne Versailles, wir säßen aber nicht komplett auf dem Trockenen.

Ich schätze, jedes Bandmember wird in der Versailles-Pause erstmal seine eigenden (Musik-)Projekte verfolgen, was vollkommen in Ordnung ist.
Um nach fünf Jahren auch mal wieder etwas anderes zu machen, bzw. zu erschaffen, und ihre Energiereserven wieder aufzutanken.
Außerdem sind Pausen für die Kreativität sehr förderlich.

Ganz zu Ruhe setzen, werden sie sich die Jungs bestimmt nicht. Kann ich mir irgendwie nicht vorstellen. Dafür sind sie noch zu rüstig in ihrem Alter.
Ich freue mich, solange sie der Musik (selbst sollte es ohne Versailles sein) erhalten bleiben, man weiterhin von den jeweiligen Bandmembern etwas hört, und sie nicht komplett von der Bildfläche verschwinden.

Dear our loyal fans and supporters in the world,

Versailles is going to take a hiatus at the end of 2012. In the 5th
anniversary year for us, we have kept seeking for our new musical
direction to enter a higher stage of Versailles. During that process
of discovering a new musical direction, we felt strong need and desire
to step outside of the band to inspire each of us to be a better
musician. This hiatus is for focusing on each member’s own
musicability that we will definitely bring all our new inputs to
Versailles when we are ready to be back together.

Since the beginning of the band, our main theme has always been ROSE.
With all the stories we have told in our music for the past 5 years,
we have gotten to the point where our 5th anniversary song “ROSE”
represents what ROSE really means to Versailles. That also determined

As I’m sure most people know by now, Versailles have announced that they will be stopping activities. (We’ve made two posts about it, which you can see respectively here, and here (auf der STN-seite findet ihr die Links)).


Some of the members have finally posted comments via their blogs, or Twitter. We’ll continue to update the post until all the member’s comments are finished being translated, so please keep checking back. So far, Kamijo and Teru have not updated regarding the announcement. (hmm ich hab auf tumblr schon einen Teru-comment gesehen, oder nicht? )

Wir sind bereits dabei, und haben mit dem Europaischem Tourorganisator Kontakt aufgenommen => aber macht euch bitte keine voreiligen Hoffnungen (denn ganz realistisch gesehen waere fuer eine weitere Tour gar keine Zeit)

Mit dieser Meinung bist Du nicht allein.
Die J-Band Malice Mizer pausiert seit ca. Ende 2001, und wird wohl nie wieder zurückkommen.
Keine Ahnung, ob Versailles dasselbe Schicksal haben wird.

Ich bastel hier mal ein kleines Update zusammen.

Meine schicke "ROSE 5th Anniversary Box" [CD+DVD, Limited Edition] hat die No. 2307/6666. Die Box ist in dunkelrotem Samt eingeschlagen und der Bandname wurde darin eingeprägt. Sieht echt edel aus!
Die neuen Songs "ROSE", "Ayakashi", "Love will be born again" (Japanese Version) und "THE RED CARPET DAY" gefallen mir sehr gut.
Die Neuauflagen von "Love will be born again" und "THE RED CARPET DAY" sind teilweise neu von der Melodie eingespielt worden. Oder man könnte auch sagen, sie haben ein kleines Update bekommen. Bei "THE RED CARPET DAY" sind z.B. die Shouts intensiver.

Die DVD ist auch super! Bei der "Doku", jedenfalls habe ich immer vorab angenommen es wäre eine, Namens "History of Descendant of the Rose" hatte ich etwas anderes erwartet. Aber die Backstage- und Konzert-Aufnahmen aus den letzten Jahren haben mich vollkommen entschädigt, und ich war trotzdem zufrieden.
Im Endeffekt wird hier einem die Bandgeschichte mit Bildern und wenig Text gezeigt. Es gibt auch einen Teil mit längeren Aufnahmen von Jasmine You. Da wird einem kurz ganz anders...

Die "Live from World Tour 2012 Holy Grail - Grand final - Chateau de Versailles - 2012.2.12" Live-Aufnahmen sind toll: "MASQUERADE", "Judicial Noir," "Thanatos," "DRY ICE SCREAM!! (Remove Silence)," "Flowery," "Vampire","Remember Forever."

"MASQUERADE" lässt einen durch die Tänzer im Hintergrund gleich automatisch an das PV denken.
Live sind die Jungs einfach klasse und Vollprofis!

Cool, dann bekomme ich mit der Limited Edition doch noch die mir fehlenden PVs. Nämlich die vom dem "Holy Grail"-Limited Edition-Album, denn bei der Deluxe Box des Albums waren die nämlich nicht dabei.
Und den Film, den es in drei Teile aufgeteilt auf den insgesamt vier verschiedenen "ASCENDEAD MASTER"-Single-CD-Versionen gab, gibt es auch noch dazu.

VERSAILLES' Kamijo Shares An Important Message On His Twitter

Versailles' Kamijo has sent a message to his fans, explaining to them what kind of content they can share and translate freely, and asking them to stop sharing private and copywritten material.


The message came after the it was brought to Kamijo's attention that fans had been translating the band's interviews with various magazines and sharing them to the world. While he appreciates the thought, he points out that its not right for people to do that.


The singer also asked fans not to share exclusive fan club material to those who aren't in the fan club.

I’ve received lots of messages about my “Onegai (Please do me a

Did I sound a bit too harsh?
No, I didn’t mean to be harsh at all.
But I’ve come to realize that my explanation was insufficient and that
I have to explain it fully for you to understand what I mean.
First of all, I always thank all of you and street teams in every
country who continuously support us by rendering our info and news
into your languages and by posting them on your websites and/or blogs.
That really helps spread my band and our info to the world, which is

Die Samples überzeugen mich nicht so ganz, aber natürlich werde ich das Album kaufen. Immerhin geht eine Ära vorbei.

Wuhu, ein uninspiriertes PV bei einer VK-Band - dat ist nichts neues. X"D Es ist wenigstens nicht ganz so uninspiriert wie die üblichen PVs nach dem Schema "Band in Raum/Villa/Ruine/[beliebiger Ort] spielt". X"D Das Lied ist gut, aber ja, das Metallastige ist viel weniger geworden - sie hören sich immer mehr nach Lareine zum Ende hin an. :/ Waren auch gut, aber Versailles waren halt doch immer 'n Tick besser.

Ok, nach den Samples muss ich ganz klar sagen, dass das eher Lareine mit besserem Gitarristen denn je sind denn Versailles.
So sachte erscheint mit der blöde Witz mit als nächstes wieder Lareine gar nicht mehr sooo extrem abwegig...

Btw, hatte einer mitbekommen, dass Versailles im Juni 2012 einen extrem geilen Patch herausgebracht hatten?! Ich nicht in all dem Stress und jetzt er natürlich ausverkauft. -.-" *abkotzt, da seit Jahren nach einem Versailles-Patch geiert wie gaskrank*
