Story: Kahoko Hino ist eine reguläre Schülerin der Seiso Academy, einer High School, die eine sehr berühmte Musiksoderabteilung hat. Als sie wieder einmal zu spät zur Schule kommt sieht sie eine kleine Fee namens Lili. Diese ist total begeistert, dass Kahoko sie sehen kann, denn das bedeutet, dass in ihr ein latentes Musikgenie schlummern muss. Bis jetzt hatte Kahoko mit Musik jedoch nichts am Hut. Lili gibt ihr deshalb eine magische Violine, auf der jeder gut spielen kann und meldet Kahoko für den schulinternen Musikwettbewerb an.

An dem Wettbewerb nehmen die besten Schüler des Musikbereiches teil und es erregt sehr viel Aufsehen, dass eine reguläre Schülerin an diesem Wettbewerb teilnehmen soll, da er ein hohes musikalisches Level hat. Kahoko weiß selbst nicht wie sie in dieses Schlamassel geraten konnte, doch durch die magische Violine ist sie in der Lage mit den Anderen mitzuhalten. Nach und nach entdeckt sie die Musik für sich und entwickelt eine Leidenschaft, mit der sie nicht gerechnet hat.
